2007 – Good Riddance
Posted: January 2nd, 2008, by Simon ProffittIn most ways, 2007 was pretty miserable, and I’m glad to see the back of it. I didn’t hear much new music, I didn’t watch any new films, I got rid of my entire CD collection accumulated lovingly and painstakingly over the past 14 years, and all the creative projects I engaged in were either not very good, totally ignored, or both.
However, I moved house, which was a good thing, and I now live here, 8 miles from the nearest shop:
This is the view from the field on the other side of the road from my house.
Things to do in 2008: earn some money somehow, get Fourier Transform back on track, learn Welsh.

Simon was born near Clowne, Derbyshire and is now an honorary Welshman. In former guises he has created fake diamonds, developed ultra-high-capacity storage devices and been one half of slow-moving, über-pretentious record label Fourier Transform. He now spends his evenings recording silence and banging kitchen utensils.
